Until recently, all of the online photo albums were generated using Ulead's Photo Explorer 8.5. Now they are produced using Coppermine.
The Coppermine album adds many features that would be quite tricky to implement any other way. Examples...
| Visitors can sign up and once approved they can create their own private albums |
| Registered users can create albums to share, or can keep them private, and can password protect albums that they might wish to share with just their friends |
| Photos can appear in many albums: each album has a single keyword, each photo can have many keywords and a photo appears in every album that matches one of the photo's keywords |
| Registered users can send electronic postcards to each other using one of the photos |
| Registered users can comment on photos |
| All users can rank photos |
| Slideshows and random displays of photos from albums are supported |
